An Extraordinary Journey: The New Edition of 'Where is My Best Friend?'

Writing is a process that sometimes feels like catching lightning in a bottle. It only happens when the timing is just right. And today, I am glad to share a story that is very close to my heart, a tale that I lovingly present in a brand-new edition:

'Where is My Best Friend?'

I first penned this story in 2012, long before the modern conversations surrounding artificial intelligence took center stage. While the words remain entirely my own, this new edition features breathtaking illustrations brought to life through an unofficial collaborative spark with Gemini, by Google.

Now, the readers will be able to fully immerse themselves in the scenes and embark on a colorful and intriguing journey to figure out what happened to our missing character in this story. 

This book holds a special place in my collection, and its translation from Portuguese to English connects directly with my investigation in the report titled 'I See the Light.'

While that book for adults navigates the mysteries of reality, 'Where is My Best Friend?' navigates the complex, often confusing landscape of grief through the eyes of a child trying to understand the loss of their best friend, John.

From the initial myths of "traveling" and "sleeping" to the comforting, celestial idea of becoming a star, the story reflects how we try to protect children, and ourselves, from the pain of finality. 

Ultimately, this is a story about cycles, memories, and the ways those we love continue to live on within us. Whether they become stars in our imagination or remain treasures in our hearts, they are never truly gone.
